About the project

1EV is an innovative application that simplifies the lives of electric vehicle drivers. It enables quick searching for nearby charging stations using Google Maps integration. The app effortlessly calculates charging fees and offers the convenience of paying for each charging session individually. What's more, it supports different brands of chargers, which until now were divided into separate applications for each station operator.

About the project work

“The project presented challenges, but it was also intriguing. The team was fully aware of the difficulties involved, but we managed to complete the entire scope of work and even exceeded expectations.”

- Martyna Rojewska, Project Manager in Qarbon IT

The client’s needs

The client expected to obtain an application that would fulfill the basic needs of electric vehicle users. Since each operator has their own application, the client wanted a single application to manage multiple charging stations. This goal was successfully achieved through integration with the Hub.

Our role in the project

Qarbon IT was involved in the project from the workshop phase to the completion of the MVP phase, including the release of the application on the Google and Apple stores. The client came with a general idea of creating the application, and through workshops, we were able to clarify that vision. We established the technology and then consulted and brainstormed ideas together. During the development, we implemented the client's concept while adapting to the evolving market needs. We achieved integration with the German Hub, which allowed us to meet the challenge of combining multiple applications into one. In the Admin Control Panel, we enable notification sending and collect comprehensive data on charging quantity, location, and transactions. The system provides full support for electric vehicles.
